Knitted Mini Net Bag Recipe - How to Make a Bag with Macrame Threads?

I am here with a tiny little bag. After knitting the lilac bag in my File Tote Bag Recipe article, I wanted to knit a tiny, sweet version with the remaining yarn and this bag came out. A model that will appeal to small bag lovers... So let's get started!

Materials

• I knitted it with KnitMe brand XL Polyester Macrame yarn. Color code 1623. One ball is 250 gr. It doesn't finish a whole ball.
• Crochet hook 6 mm

Measurement Information

• Height: 15 cm
• Width: 18 cm
• Depth: 7 cm
• Hanger height: 27 cm

If we're ready, let's start knitting our sweet mini bag!

Sole Making

• We knit the base in a spiral pattern without slipping stitches. You can place a stitch marker at the end of the row.

Row 1: We start by making 16 chains. We skip the first chain and make 3 single crochets in the second. We increase the stitches. We make 1 single crochet in each of the next 13 chains and come to the last chain. Let's make 3 single crochets in the last chain. Now we move on to the other side of the chain. We make 13 single crochets and join the stitch we started with a slip stitch. Let's move on to the new row without making a chain.

Row 2: We make 3 single crochets into the same stitch, 1 single crochet into the next stitch, 3 single crochets into the next stitch. Let's make 13 single crochets into the next stitches and come to the other end of the chain and do the same again; 3 single crochets, 1 single crochet into the next stitch, 3 single crochets into the next stitch. We come to the end of the row with 13 single crochets.

Row 3: 1 single crochet, 3 single crochets in the next stitch, 1 single crochet in each of the next 3 stitches, 3 single crochets in the next stitch, 1 single crochet in each of the next 15 stitches.

Row 4: 1 single crochet in each of the 2 stitches, 3 single crochets into the next stitch, 1 single crochet in each of the 5 stitches in the next, 3 single crochets into the next stitch. Let's complete the row with the same logic by making 17 single crochets towards the other end of the sole. Our sole is ready!

Body Part

• Let's start knitting by cutting the yarn we knitted for the base and tying a new yarn from the side of the bag.
• We will work the upper wings of the loops in the last row of the base.

Row 5: Let's make 3 chains, this chain will be counted as a double crochet. Let's make double crochets in the next 5 stitches. Let's make 1 chain, we came to the front of the bag, skip 1 stitch and make a double crochet in the next one. Let's repeat this process to the other side of the bag. Thus, holes will be formed. Let's make 6 double crochets on the side and create holes on the back of the bag.

• In the following rows, we will work by taking two wings of stitches.

Rows 6-12: It's very fun from here on out. We repeat the same process in row 5 until we reach the desired height without increasing. We knit until row 12.

13) In this row, we make 6 double crochets on the sides, and in the front and back parts, we finish the row by knitting half crochets into the holes we created by pulling a chain, not on top of the crochets.

Hangers

We tie our yarn to the loop on the upper right side. We pull 70 chains and join it to the left corner with a slip stitch, then we go back and secure the 70 chains we pulled by slip stitching. We make the hanger on the other side and finish it. You can make the hangers longer or shorter if you want.

That's it! Our mini mesh bag is ready. I wanted to make it plain. You can decorate it by knitting a figure like in the photo.
